2026 FMSQ Cross Country Champion: Tyler Medaglia

What a season, what a rider, what a team! 

Defending a chamionship is no small feat and Tyler proved yet again why he's the best of the best. He started the season with a masterclass performance, finishing with a two and a half minute gap to second place at the first round. He carried that momentum through the first half of the season winning rounds 2, 3 and 4 but a mid-season shoulder injury caused him to DNF in round 5, meaning he dropped to second in the points. With some hard core shoulder rehab, a bike change, and a whole lot of grit and determination, Tyler came back and made a statement by winning rounds 6, 7 and 8; closing the gap and securing his 2nd FMSQ Cross Country championship! This season had its fair share of challenges and close fought battles but Tyler took the statment he made last season and etched it in stone this season.
